Firstly, this museum is expensive for what it is. If you visit look at getting a Geneva card and doing it as part of a wider group of museums. The museum is well laid out but small. The description of the artefacts is all in...More

The Reformation can be a dry subject. It can be an emotional and controversial subject. This museum tells the story well and charts the evolution of protestantism into the 21st century. Geneva was one of the main intellectual and political centers of protestantism. The impact...More

This is a very interactive experience that highlights the changes in religion and society during this period. The printing press greets you as you walk in and it comes to mind that the spread of the protestant doctrine was only possible through the written word.

In a beautiful historic building, worth visiting in itself, hidden away in the old town, is this museum which I thought unlikely to interest teenagers. Yet it did. Not by pandering to them with "interactive" buttons and bling-bling, but by retelling the history of the...More

An interesting museum to those wishing to learn more about this aspect of Christian history. Many of the exhibits are labelled in French (partly helped by English headsets and the lay out of the museum wasn't very clear. Had time permitted going on an English...More
