If you are interested in world politics, then this is the place for you. The tour is quite short (less then an hour) and really is only 3 conference rooms, but our guide was very informative and explained in great deal the formation and running of the UN.

There are many other things to do in Geneva. Unless to come for a meeting, not sure if there is a point to spend time seeing offices!

We took the tour that was reasonably priced and did the show does the basics of the functioning of the The building and the organization. I'm not a big fan of the UN is I feel so much of its money is spent on overhead and certainly prime lakefront property and Geneva speaks volumes on this. If you've never been... More

The tour lasts about an hour and you are taken through the building and some of the important meeting rooms, and the history and other interesting aspects of the building are related. There is also a bookshop and souvenir shop. Do check the website for the latest as sometimes there are no tours for the day.

The giant chair here symbolizes the global fight against landlines. This work of art is on display outside the symbolic founding offices of the UN.

The tour of the UN EU offices in Geneva is very interesting and they do a good job of giving the history and mission of the UN and the facilities in Geneva. To be fair, you are taking a tour of offices, conference rooms, and auditoriums. The tour only lasts about an hour and we learned all that we need... More

I learned about the UN as a whole and that was good along with what the 4 different UN centers each specialize in. Saw a couple of the larger meeting rooms. Tour took 1 hour and cost 12 CHF. Buildings are not particularly pretty from the outside but have nicer features inside, especially the old building. I did enjoy seeing... More

The Palais des Nations is a series of beautiful and interesting buildings but the tour is very limited. With its rich history, this could be one of the most important tours in the world and needs serious updating and use of new technology. The price was very reasonable, but a better tour would be worth much more. If you go... More

I could only see it from the outside. I have no idea how it is inside but it is promising. It is quite a walk from downtown.

The Palais des Nations is an interesting and huge building where you can see numerous office and a lot of international employees around the building. UNOG is the second largest UN centre after the UN Headquarters in New York and if you have time and you want to know how UN works, you should have a tour here! The garder... More
