So much history in this great building, whose corridors have had some of the biggest names walk through. The UN official visit with proper tours through the building, with professional guides who give you great snippets of history. I worked there for many years but still, today when I go back, that charm us always there. How many decisions have... More

A visit to the UN European HQ worth the time. Take the tram out to Nations and a short walk to the entrance for visitors. The visit/tour costs 20 euro per person and make sure you have your passport with as you need it for access to the tour.

A very big infrastructure with beautifully maintained, loved my visit there , saw all countries flags and Gandhijis statue. Outside nations we have a big broken chair statue which is also a must see.

I went to the United Nation for meeting. It is official place for United Nation, I visit the bookstore on the ground floor, and I bought a souvenir. Also you can buy gifts from there.

Visiting this place is a must... It is the place where 193 nations meet and decide on the future of the planet. The guided tour will allow you to visit the meeting/conference rooms and get a little about the History. Really nice.

Excellent choice of food options and really good prices. Very nice cold salad buffet too. The only disadvantage is that it is quite often really crowded, particularly during big meetings (e.g. Human Rights Council).

I was here on business but saw lots of tours go through. If you do go, try to get outside on the lake side. There is a wonderful statue commemorating man's first flight into space. In the US we tend to ignore the Soviet Union space achievements so it was nice to see this really awesome statue celebrate Yuri Gagarin... More

If you are interested in world politics, then this is the place for you. The tour is quite short (less then an hour) and really is only 3 conference rooms, but our guide was very informative and explained in great deal the formation and running of the UN.

There are many other things to do in Geneva. Unless to come for a meeting, not sure if there is a point to spend time seeing offices!

We took the tour that was reasonably priced and did the show does the basics of the functioning of the The building and the organization. I'm not a big fan of the UN is I feel so much of its money is spent on overhead and certainly prime lakefront property and Geneva speaks volumes on this. If you've never been... More
