Perfect activity for a calm sunday afternoon. You won't spend more than one hour in there but the painting is outstanding and the video they show on the tv inside about how its made is quiet interesting.

Great place to be at. Lake is large and has amazing view of lake & mountains in background. You can also have boat rides and on cruise dinner.

Enjoy the whole panorama of Thun city and Swiss alps. The best place to enjoy is from the schloss Thun or by the ship on the lkae of Thun. Good for sightseeing and relaxing day.

do a round trip from Interlaken - Thun - Interlaken. Take a cruise from interlaken get off at Thun move around and either take the cruise back or the train. Both will give you the Panorama view of the lake along with the mountains.

Stunning views!!!Great place for taking photos! We were there on a clear and sunny day, just when the sun changed its colors from yellow to orange, and colored the Alps so beautiful that the photos we took were outstanding!

My friend in Basel took me to see this amazing 200 year old, 360 degree painting in the pretty town of Thun, near Interlaken in the centre of Switzerland. It was the most extraordinary piece of artwork I have seen. The artist, Marquard Wocher painted this circular image of Thun whilst sitting on a roof top high above the town.... More

This panoramic painting depicts life in Thun something like 200 years ago. The artist is Marquard Wocker. It was a good stop after viewing the city from Schloss Thun only an hour earlier.

It is easily accessible by train from Interlaken or a river cruise. We did the river cruise from Thun to Interlaken via return. Its all free with Swiss pass. The own is beautiful and structures and buildings were remarkable. The river cruise across the River Thun gave us awesome pics ans spectacular views.
