My husband and I enjoyed strolling along the water looking for the bears. It’s a scenic and lovely sight. We actually spotted the bears on our way out of the park... as we turned and stopped at a little bridge .. there they were in...More

We stopped for lunch at the Old Tram Depot and afterwards stopped to watch the bears. It can get pretty crowded if all the bears are out. They can also be seen along the river and in the water if they are released into that...More

Walk down the road well past Einstein's house and you will see the beautiful emerald colour river and the big brown bears. We were lucky to see one of them enjoying a bath!

What can you say, great place to see three lovely bears in the middle of Bern. Do yourself a favour and have a beer or even better have something to eat in the restaurant behind the bears.

Highly recommend - lots of habitat for the bears. Beautiful scenery and enjoyable walk. There is a free funicular to take you to the River Aare - and the walk is along the bear’s dwelling.

It is a limited space inside a hillside where you can see bears, the symbol of Bern. This area is better than their previous residence, (it was a hole which is now empty), but in any case it is not an ideal home for them.

Walking to find the bear park from our hotel in Bern was fun. I lost my way and walked way out of my way to find it, but that is somewhat the fun of it all. It was a warm autumn afternoon and the bears...More

This park sits aside a beautiful river, there are bears to watch in the enclosure, but the big draw is the path down by the river. An elevator is on site allowing for wheel chair access to the path along the river. It’s also free!

Not much to see here except a sad looking bear with nothing to do and just pacing up and down in frustration . Situated in a town centre and open to anyone .

Taking bus No 12 from the train station or from the central street of old town you get off at ''Barenpark''. You will see a lift that takes you down to the river bank and the park. Not many bears to see, the most interesting...More

There are many other lovely things to see and do in Bern. Most importantly float down the river with the locals....
