Speaking about an entrance...

Beautiful thanks to the respect of the direct surrounding. Makes us remember of that the past was not always dark.

Well worth checking out. It’s on the way to Saint Peters Church. Great views from both sides and obviously free to see

We exited the city by car driving through this beautiful arch. It is an amazing entrance/exit to this walled fortress Perugia.

Magnificent arch
Jul 2016
We passed by car many times but also took a walk nearby cause not far there are italian cuisine restaurants, so after a dinner we decided to make a short foto session near this arch, it's really impressive!

Massive Arch
Dec 2016 • Family
Quite a spectacular archway and worth passing through. However not as exciting as the main square which has so much of everything.

Not sure it's worth the effort to find, but is one of the more interesting city gates if you stumble upon it.

Monumental piece of architecture & history - walk through the gate and look up on this beauty. Monumental stones put together to this great structure. Very recommended

Nice Bit of History
Jul 2015 • Family
It is an old relic of a time gone by. It is not something you would go out of your way to see however. Use this as a place to pass by on a walk to other sites. It makes the walk around Perugia that little bit more historic.
