This is an efficient and easy way to get around Perugia!! It has an elevator or you can take the stairs to access it and you use your bus pass to gain entrance.

Why drive into the centre of town, when you can park for free on the outskirts and ride up in the mini metro. The 8+ person pods come along every couple of minutes and after a short loop around the local housing, whisk you up...More

I thought it was called mini because it was a small system but the carriages are mini too. More like a funicular. It's really handy for getting from the top or bottom of town to the railway station and back. Very regular 'trains' about 1...More

The historic centre of Perugia is a long way from the train station and it is impossible to walk there because it is up a windy road which is very busy. The Minimetro is excellent. It runs every two minutes and drops you right in...More

We visited Perugia in August and were pleasantly surprised that it has minimetro, so we decided to leave the car at the last station and go to center by metro. There were no working hours stated anywhere so we figured it works 24/7 or at...More

Driverless, tracked shuttles giving good views and stopping at 7 stations. Running every few minutes from and to the historical center and train station of Perugia, cheap and fast. If you have a lot of cases may be best to get a taxi as there...More

The MiniMetro is a unique way to get from one side of Perugia to the other, from the main train station to the top of the town. It's a driverless system of tracked cabs and very reasonably priced.
