.Amazing views from the parapet and was the pick up point for the regular tours of Gubbio aboard the little tourist train. A lift to get you there if not able to manage the steep streets.

Long staircases and secret corridors lead one through the various exhibitions. Buy a combination ticket for 24 euros to gain access to three other museums.

Piazza Grande is the central focus in Gubbio surrounded by historic buildings on 3 sides and spectacular views on the other. I was so lucky when I was there as there were no tourists at all!!

Definitely pass it on your town walk - it's unique (square located on top of stone pillars undrr it - see from street level below) & historic (check out the cage by the window for the slow death of punished).

So much to see here! And really spooky staircase and fireplace too! Beautiful works of art and an amazing wall fountain.

Historically a great place. Interesting architecture. Steep climb for walkers, but several shops and places for a cool drink. Gubbio from that far up is wonderful. Goooo

I was in Gubbio on business and had a couple of free hours for lunch and to explore Gubbio. Marvelous views of the Umbrian countryside were great, especially for pictures!

It's very easy to get there with the two elevators. Worth the visit. It does not cost anything. There is one restaurant right there. We didn't go there, though.
