It's very easy to get there with the two elevators. Worth the visit. It does not cost anything. There is one restaurant right there. We didn't go there, though.

Absolutely throughly enjoyed going round this building - the ceramic corridor I particularly enjoyed. It was so quiet though and we almost had the entire museum to ourselves. Little bit disappointing that they didn’t offer the 3 attraction pass we had read about but apparently...More

This was one of the main squares of Gubbio. It offered lovely views over the old town and was framed by the impressive Palazzo De Consoli. This was now a civic museum.

Beautiful square with the imposing Palazzo dei Consoli towering over it. Great aerial views from there, and easy access to other levels of Gubbio via elevators.

The great palace, the view on the valley, the beautiful museum, the little stores and eateries, all at walking distance.

Not only a great open space, but also a point offering a panoramic view of the whole city. Even though it was a rainny day, we enjoyed every part of the city.

Lot of fun with 2 to a 'cage' for the trip up the mountain. Great views at the top and the Basilica is very worthwhile. However be warned the ride down closes for lunch at 1.15pm and opens again at 2.30pm. We arrived at 1.15pm...More

You can either walk up or take the lift, I prefer to take the lift up and walk down. It is a large square with many important buildings surrounding the square. The Palazzo dei Consoli is a large gothic building with a fan shaped staircase...More

Take the public lift to reach the Piazza Grande and be awestruck by the view across the rooftops and out into the nearby countryside. Take your camera!
