This place was empty on a mid-afternoon weekday. Three wine samples for 10 euro, and a nice cool spot to rest while visiting Siena. The mosquitoes are relentless, though! Check out the wine museum in the cellar.

Great place for an afternoon drink and snack. There is no menu only a meat and cheese platter for the afternoon, but it was great. That and a couple glasses of wine, a short rest, and set for the rest of the afternoon.

The Medici Fortress is largely an open-air gym, which I'm not sure the Medicis would have approved of. Deep in the bowels is your chance to try any Italian wine in existence for €6-10 a glass. I could have spent a lot here had we...More
