Yes, you can see beautiful historical artifacts, but don't forget to (stand in line) to make the climb to the top to get the most amazing panoramic views of Siena and Tuscany. Get the combo ticket with the Duomo..

The museum was filled with preserved artifacts that I found absorbing. However, the surprise was a visit to the rooftop and wow! The view over Siena and the surrounding country was fantastic. Definitely worth a visit.

We visited this museum as part of our combo ticket for Duomo sites. For us, the highlight was the panorama, which provides stunning views of Siena and the Tuscan countryside. We had not really expected this as our guidebook did not really describe it very...More

Did not spend much time visiting the Museum itself but climbed to the breathtaking panoramic view. A delight to contemplate the Siena roofs and surrounding countryside.

Be sure to get the ticket for the complete visits--Duomo and the museum, baptistery and crypt. Really worthwhile to see the original church artefacts; museum is less crowded than church.

This museum holds the pieces of art that adorned the Duomo since its construction. It has excellent pieces of art, both sculptures and paintings, but its most amazing piece is the maesta of Duccio with its accompanying pictures. For any art lover this masterpiece justifies...More
