There was a long que in an unsheltered area. We didn't want to do the climb as we seen the views of Siena from the panorama. If you only want to see the museum element I'd maybe skip it.

We queued for about 30 minutes which is quick. They let in about 28 at a time so depends on the line up. After the panorama we looked at the museum. Not a huge fan of religious items with relics inside however the collection is...More

Honestly, it was a very long wait just to take in the views awaiting one after a long climb up a winding flight of stairs. If you have the time, you might consider it, but there are other sites more worthy.

The statues at the entrance way and then straight to the top to club up to the view point are this museums highlights! This is not and easy climb up spiral narrow staircases but so worth it. The top is a bit shakey if your...More

If you have difficulties with stairs, this is challenging destination to visit. This museums is on several floors and even with a possible elevator (which I personally didn't see but I believe there is one) it can be hard to access, specially for wheelchair users....More

Another part of the ticket package around the cathedral. The museum is really lovely and has a lot of the art that has been renovated or replaced in the cathedral. I highly recommend the audioguide (you can get it for just the cathedral or for...More

"Opera" in this context means the "works" and nothing to do with music. This museum therefore contains the statutes that once adorned the outside of the Duomo but have been replaced due to wear and tear. You enter this museum to access the facciatone, or...More
