Impressive piazza where the main square is a place where they used to run a horse competition. A central attraction in Siena, it's hard to miss!

The home of the il palio this square is quite a sight in the sunshine, there are shops and bars all around the outside with ice cream shops dotted all around.sit in the sun and soak up the culture and architecture, well worth the walk...More

Wander across and around then grab a table and watch! Aperitif drinks, lunch the next day and then an ice cream all in the square people and dog watch watching! Simple Italian "dolce vita" enjoy!

This is Siena. Don't miss it, get a gelato, sit on the ground and people watch, and make sure to watch a video of the Palio horse race run here every summer.

All the restaurants on the piazza serve nice apertivo food and drinks. It is very nice to sit here on a beautiful summer evening.

Hi, we had a rented vehicle while in Tuscany as it was easier to get around so I honestly don't know. I'm sorry!
