It is not hard to imagine the world of excitement when the horses race around this square. it is truly delightful - take time to have a cup of coffee and think of "James Bond"

I consider this one of the hidden Italian treasures. While everyone is aware of the larger cities such as Florence and Rome, Siena is a neat gem which is buzzing with culture and commotion. The best time to visit the Piazza is at night when...More

Lovely to look around and do some people watching. We also stopped at a bar for a drink as it was a nice day. To think they still run the races here - must put being there for that on my bucket list.

Piazza del Campo is one of the nicest squares I have ever visited. It has a special atmosphere and is a must for anyone visiting Tuscany.

Restaurants will trap you and bring you in. Let them. Just sit and enjoy. Very unique area - grab some food and wine and relax.

It's just a cool square for anything Palio, New Year's or just sit and chill. A lot of bars and restaurants around.

Lovely town square. Keep a close eye on your children though, because there are a lot of people there. But a gellato in the sun here.is absolute lovely!

This Piazza was unbelievable. It is huge, with beautiful fountain settled there. You haven't visited Siena if you didn't step on this Piazza.

A classic spot to go in Sienna. It was fun and we had a delightful salad & pizza in one of restaurants on the square. Can't imagine the Pallio and the madness that goes with it.
