San Gimignano is well worth a visit for all of the architectural landmarks both ancient and modern and this is well worth seeing on its own.

Surrounded by cafes and ice cream shops, very close to the Duomo church. Has a huge central ancient water well.

Everybody likes to stay in the main piazza so this one was a bit of empty and lonely. Is not that beautiful like the main one, but worth a look.

Don't miss walking up to the well in the center. It had deep grooves from decades of ropes that you can fit your fingers in.

Standing in the center of this wonderful town with its ancient cistern you are surrounded by the towers that make it unique. Close your eyes and then open them and you are back in the passt.

San Gimignano is a lovely Italian hilltop town in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. The towers in the town are very impressive and can be seen from miles away. The Piazza is a lovely place to have a relaxing morning coffee and people watch. Lovely experience.
