Do they speak Eglish?
Apr 2018 • Couples
Tried to get a map of Pisa or the area of e plaza. Blank look from the counter lady so my wife explained what it was that we ere seeking. Look away, look back at us; at that stage I assumed that neither lady understood English, and as we do not speak Italian, we left.

Dear Mr Dan, we are sorry to hear what has happened. We do have high school students doing their internships in our office and not all of them speak properly English. We apologise for the inconvenience and we hope you had a nice stay. Best wishes,

Precious Little Information
Apr 2017 • Couples
I must say the Italian people were very helpful throughout Tuscany, with the exception of the two in the Info Point. We asked several questions, none of which they knew the answers to and we left disappointed the first time and even more disappointed the second time, after giving them a second chance. We wanted a tour of some kind, to learn more about Pisa, but all the girl kept saying was that we had to book a tour for tomorrow, which is not very helpful when you're flying back that day. In the end we found a brochure for Pisa Walking Tours which gave us all the info we needed in a 2 hour tour of the city.

Worst audio guided tour I've done
Sep 2016 • Couples
We bought the €8 self guided tour of the city and found it really difficult to communicate with the staff. They took our ID and a €50 note and wandered off for fifteen minutes without telling us what they were doing (photocopying the ID and finding change as it turned out - would have been fine if they'd let us know). The audio tour was AWFUL. The narrators were so uninspiring and the translation makes what would probably be exciting information seem so dull and lifeless. We ended up skipping a lot of the descriptions of the buildings (which also relied on you having tickets to enter the cathedral, cemetery and baptistery and we weren't told this) and then after listening to a few of the information points for the city itself, gave up completely. The folk story at the end was interesting in a patronising way - but that's the best I can say about the whole thing. Save your time and money and get Wikipedia up on your phone as you wander the city.

Helpful and beyond!!
May 2016 • Friends
The staff at Info Point was some of the most helpful and kind people I have ever had the pleasure of running into while traveling!
For our stay in Italy, we had booked an Airbnb. We were having a hard time communicating with the host over the phone because of the language barrier. This is when we came upon Info Point and asked if they could help us. They not only helped us communicate and solve our housing issue but continued giving us tips and hints about where and what to do during our stay. We ended up staying for quite some time to chat and learn more about the city and exchange friendly conversation.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing advice, tips, and any other travel necessities. They even had a good selection of merchandise which we were sure to buy some as keepsakes.

Typical Town Information Point
May 2016 • Solo
There are two information centres, this one being on the southeast side of the precincts. Free maps available for a walking tour of Pisa plus books and souvenirs to purchase but very limited.

Rude staff!
Oct 2015 • Couples
Went into this info centre on our first day in Pisa to get info on attractions and find out about train abd bus routes and was not impressed by the young lady attendant who totally ignored me and chose to speak to a German and French group stood behind me, I walked out without any info. I may be an English speaker but we chose Pisa for our stay expecting nice hospitality!

Oct 2015 • Solo
This is a right place to start your visit to Pisa and get a lot of good suggestions for your stay in Pisa and Tuscany as well!
Girl are really helpful and give a good ideas for tourists. Also you may buy there some books about Pisa in more then 10 different languages - books about Pisa, about Tuscany and even local recipe-books.
If you will need internet, you may use wireless there too.
