The surrounds are more interesting as the tower overlooks the river. However you are not allowed to climb the tower.

We walked past the Torre tower as we headed back to our hotel . It is on outskirts of tourist area and not worth making a special journey to see it

This is a ruin which is not exactly looked after and just stands there looking a little sorry for itself. Ok we saw it and then moved on.

If you walk out here you can see the huge thick wall of the old city. It crosses the river just in front of the tower and turns left away from the city for a while.

This is the angle to actually gauge how much the tower is leaning. If you looked at it by itself or without a 90 degree angle object to compare it with, it's hard to see.

It is so weird to climb these stairs.. Even though it is a steep stretch, it's worth it! View is great with the Mountains behind the pretty bells. In december not that many people around so relax and enjoy the atmosphere
