The cathedral looks like it is constructed of spun sugar. It was built between 1068 and 1118, and is laid out on the shape of a cross. It was a wonderful experience to visit and I am in awe of the age and condition of...More

You have to go into the ticket booth at the building across the walkway from the Duomo to get free tickets to enter, and it is worth the time to visit. We were able to walk right in as soon as we picked up the...More

Such a beautiful church. Unfortunately lots of scaffolding obscuring the views inside as work being done. Noisy as well as they erect it!

Remember to leave any kind of small bag that you have at the cloakroom other wise you will have to go back and leave it because you can not visit the pisa tower.

Very beautiful duomo. I didn't bother to go inside (short visit) but the marble facade and intricate carvings makes it a worthwhile place to visit. Take the redline bus from Pisa central and you will be there in 10 minutes.

This is one of a number of buildings near the leaning tower. It is a beautiful building by itself and the interior is quite stunning. It is a large church and it is very well decorated inside without being too gaudy in the renaissance style...More

Hi John, Just to back up the other answers which are correct. The Duomo is free and the only ticket you cannot book in advance on its own. If you book for any other part of the tower complex you get a free, untimed, Duomo... More
How much do they charge for In-Room WiFi access. How is the quality of access. Can on watch Netflix on an iPad? Also are the charges per device since we have multiple devices. The family will be spending 7 nights at the Tulum resort week of thanksgiving. Thanks, Ajay
