This is one of the places you must see in Tuscany. The Piazza is big and overwhelming. The buildings are huge and imposing. You have a paid parking 2 minutes from there.

You came to see the tower, you ended up here too. Is a lot more interesting if you haven't seen much more of Italy yet, otherwise it's just another huge, sprawling, gorgeous building.

Not sure about tickets but I can talk about driving in Pisa. And my advice is: don't. Leave your car at your hotel and take a taxi. It isn't a big place but it has narrow mediaeval streets, little in the way of parking... More
