You can't visit Pisa without looking at the leaning tower. There are lots of photo opportunities. Not convinced they it worth queuing to go to the top of the tower.

The Torre di Pisa is beautiful. I always saw it on pictures, but once you are there, is magnificient, marvelous, bigger than I thought; the space where it is, the park, the lights, the bells. Everything is beautiful in Pisa.

I don't think if there a storage place for luggages at the train station. It's a small station.

Yes, you can visit it by car and it will take 3 hours driving, 2-3 hours touring the tower area and 3 hours going back to Rome. You can leave Rome early morning 7-8 am and by noon you will be there and going back by 3 pm to... More

It's a little way from Roma for the day, you can go from Florence for the day to Pisa
