Amazing!
Aug 2019
My family and I hired 4 bikes from here 3 different times, to cycle around the walls of lucca. The people were so friendly and were so efficient when it came to giving us the correct size bike and such amazing prices! They were so kind that when we bought a cycling top from there the gave us 15% off! Thank you!

Sam knows what you want and need
Jul 2019 • Family
We arrived early in the AM with a family of 11. Sam fixed all the kids up first, helmets free, and then the adults. We did 2 tandems + 7 bikes of various sized (they have everything) as we had grandparents who are 75 plus. It was great. Riding around the wall is spectacular. 5 kilometers goes by fast (we did 3 laps in 1 hour). Bathrooms are exceptionally clean. Cash only - as is most of the town. Leave credit cards at home in the safe. Wheelchair accessible. Very patient and accommodating. Enjoy. Be safe. Rent with confidence.

Love this bike hire shop - good rates, good English
Apr 2019 • Friends
Whenever we come to Lucca, we always treat ourselves to bikes from this friendly shop. Nice new machines, well maintained and not too expensive. Plus their English is better than my Italian (shame). The ride round the top of the walls is an easy half ab hour, and even the city itself is easy to ride in - but it does have a maddening one way system. They even have some electric bikes for those who are too lazy to pedal for themselves.

Worth doing!!
Sep 2018 • Couples
Hired a tandem bike here for €6.50 for an hour & cycled around the city walls , it’s 4km total so plenty of time to cycle through the old town a bit also .
People were really helpful and friendly , English speaking also , identification required for the rental & pay on return .
The only criticism i would have is no map on the bike but I wouldn’t let that deter anyone from grabbing a bike from their selection.

Leasure around Lucca for an hour
Jun 2018 • Family
We stopped here on our way to Pisa as we had tickets to go up the leaning tower that evening. What a pleasant surprise. Lucca is a lovely old town and not swarmed with tourists. We rented an electric family bike and leasured around Lucca for an hour. We rode alongside the wall stopping for photos and some exploring. We found it to be very relaxing and after the bike ride we just strolled into town for some gelato and cappuchino. Picturesque and beautiful little town.

A Must In Lucca!
Apr 2018 • Family
We had a day in Lucca. You can’t visit without walking or cycling the wall. We chose to cycling. We hired the bikes for a hour which was enough time to have a leisurely cycle with a few photo stops along the way.
Bikes were reasonable and in perfect condition. We didn’t prebook and only waited about 5 minuets.
Throughly recommend.

A great way to get around Lucca – with great English speakers
Apr 2018 • Family
We hadn't planned on hiring bikes in Lucca, but it seems like the easiest way to get around by far. We hired three road bikes and a crazy six seater from Bizarri. it was very simple because the lady we spoke to had such excellent English (she may have been Australian). It was great value too, and everyone had a fab time.

Electric: decadent, but really nice
Jul 2017 • Family
We rented an electric bike with 2 adult seats and 2 kids seats on the front (with no paddles).
It felt lazy, but was really comfortable and fun cruising through the center of Lucca with it. Great fun. Good bike. Friendly staff.

Sweet Owner, Great Location
Jun 2017 • Family
This was our first time in Lucca and we were driving in from Lerici, so we needed to park. Plus it was a hot day and the kids wouldn't be able to walk too far. There is parking right outside the bike shop in Piazza Santa Maria. The shop is also directly across the street from the ramp that leads to the wall.

We rented a family bike for an hour (18 euro) and had a lovely time. The owner was kind and helpful. Make sure you have ID to leave as collateral. The pedal around the walls is very pretty and a nice way to see the town from up high. Behind the bike shop is a street that goes through the center, so you can walk/explore a bit.

Great road bikes
May 2017 • Solo
Had not planned to rent a bike in Lucca, but it's such a bike friendly town I couldn't help myself. Did not have a reservation, but they were able to provide a full carbon road bike that looked pretty new, so it was in good condition.

They didn't offer to provide a spare and a pump. I don't know if this is normal but I was traveling with spare tube and a pump so I wasn't too concerned.
