Great narrative of Lucca.

Our guide was great and skillfully provided a narrative in both languages. Our only concern was with trip advisor - we signed up for an English tour yet 11 of the 13 participants were Italian speakers. Again she did a great job. We enjoyed the tour immensely.

Had a great tour with Lucia! She was very informative and did double-duty in both English and Italian, yet kept things moving right along. Highly recommend! And you can't beat the price!

I had such an amazing time in Borgo a Mozzano touring the gothic line. Anna is filled with knowledge. She incorporates her own family history for comparison giving a unique insight on the history. I was able to tour three bunkers and view the 1000 year old devil bridge. If you love history this is a must during your stay in Lucca!

Very informative guide, very knowledgeable and interesting, friendly and thoroughly enjoyed the tour, shame about the rain!!

Lucia was a fantastic tour guide! Hands down the best tour I’ve been on. She was fun, gave us a lot of history, and had some great anecdotes and stories. Really fantastic!

Lucia was a wonderful guide! Very informative, personable, and engaging. Her personal touch and stories really helped bring Lucca to life and make the rest of our visit much more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Excellent introductory tour

This was a great introduction to Lucca and we learned a lot about the history and culture as we walked many of the ancient city streets and paused in the piazzas to listen to the guide. My only complaint was the number of people on the tour made it difficult to hear the guide unless you were standing right in front of her. If you were in the back of the crowd, you missed a lot. So word to the wise, elbow your way to the front.

This is a must do to get an appreciation of Lucca, it’s history, the tales and the food. Lucia was an excellent guide.

Superb tour

The tour with Manuel was absolutely superb. By making us look at the details of these amazing buildings around us, he uncovered a rich picture of how people lived here in the Middle Ages and explained how the Medici became the most influential family in Europe. His passion for Florence was evident and frankly I could have listened to him for two more hours. Thoroughly recommended!
