I planned to come to Lucca for a two-day trip to see this highly-rated attraction. However, when checking in today I was told the performances are now only 3 days per week, and that there is NO PERFORMANCE on the 2 days I am here....More

If you are ever early for a concert make it this one and grab a front row seat. If you have no knowledge or appreciation for opera before you go in, you will leave ever so thankful you attended. The night we went the talent...More

A real taste of Italy and a wonderful evenings entertainment. Strongly recommended for all and not just opera addicts. The tenor, the soprano and the pianist were all great

Lovely night at an opera recital. We had a great time. The music was splendid. The guy in the audience two rows ahead of me with the hiking boots and shorts in the t-shirt was a short distraction, but Thanks for reinforcing stereotypes. So, no...More

So much to like about this. It’s just an hour so it’s like a little aperitivo before dinner. The evening mixes well known pieces with more obscure ones - works for opera buffs and newbies alike. But the quality of the singers is what really...More

The talent in this permanent festival was worth the price of admission. As we had never experienced opera before, it was a great introduction and was truly awe-inspiring. The performances were perfect. The soprano on the night we went was incredible.
