A small shop filled with handmade wonders. Original gift items and prestige. Love for the traditional handicrafts of Florence lives in special gifts in leather, wood and paper. Thanks to the ancient handicraft secrets transmitted for generations, we...more
We came to this little shop twice; we couldn't stay away! THIS is what I'm looking for when traveling: handmade items by craftsmen in the area, reasonably priced for the detailed work involved, easy to pack in a suitcase, charming and attentive people to help...More

Grazie mille a nome di tutti.
Siamo veramente felici quando chi viene da noi resta soddisfatto come voi.
A little store, close to Santa Maria di Fiore, with extremely beautiful and detailed hand crafted pieces and hidden surprises.
Art, beauty and a very Florence flavor in it. We discovered it by accident, just passing by and we end up buying a clock, various...More
This little gem was a wonderful chance discovery on a super-hot afternoon in Florence last week. The window display was charming and unique, standing out amongst the other tourist route shops. The little shop front had delightful original Pinnochio and Flower Fairies miniature prints and...More

We like others stumbled upon this minuscule storefront on the way back to our hotel. The windows were intriguing so we went in..after the cheap items in the San Lorenzo market, this was amazing . The proprietor was the granddaughter of the original owner, and...More

We stumbled across this store a week ago, and regretted not buying gifts then. We had to search a bit to find it again (the store front is quite narrow) but it was worth the effort. The artist who operates the store is very helpful...More
What a cute shop, and such a friendly woman serving inside. We purchased a small wooden diorama for our wall to remember Florence by and the lady explained her husband hand tooled these things himself. Excellent service for truly unique art!
This shop is a rare find in Florence - whilst many other leather gift shops sell wonderful items, this shop sells uniquely different leather (and other materials) goods. The leather and suede is imprinted with designs and turned into books, small bags, pouches, glasses and...More
This little shop, unlike many around the Duomo area, has a genuine traditional Italian feel and story behind it. The lady serving explained that her father produces the items in the shop (like his father before him) and each item is almost unique given the...More

I actually sought this store out when the Air BnB we were staying in in Florence had one of their items on display. It was a wooden cutout of those little vintage puppet theaters, and was so cool I knew I had to have one!...More

Thanks Kathyin on behalf of all , you're welcome to your return Firenze
San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on
Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.
