Overview
The art class is an amazing opportunity to experience Florence through the eyes of a painter and to immerse yourself in the colours and lights of the Renaissance. The class is a Plein Air in a piazza next to the hotel, or on the river side. I'm a painter and art teacher and also a tourist guide. We will use acrylic colours technique, because we can paint with acrylic as oil, or water color and most important of all it gives us enormous possibilities to spread our fantasy. We will use examples from art history to choose everybody's personal style. You will have the best souvenir from Florence, a small masterpiece painted by you. I'll teach you how to lay a colour base and how to shape the painting. Our aim is to understand how a painting was created in history and to try to quickly complete an art work.
The painting experience will take place on Pontevecchio OR Giardino delle Rose OR Piazza di Santo Spirito depending on weather conditions.

I met Ulisse last week on a guided English language tour to Florence's Uffizi with a group of other incredibly lucky tourists. This beautiful lady made the experience especially eye-opening for us thanks to her obvious deep knowledge of the matter and great sense of humour - all that while navigating us through the high season crowd in the world famous gallery. Thanks to her I had a chance to learn and sense a lot more about the spirit of the times and the circumstances under which many of the artworks were commissioned and created. I hope many more people have the chance to have Ulisse as a guide in Florence and I am grateful I was one on those.

I joined a tour of the Ufizzi last minute and it was the best decision ever. Ulisse was incredible, so passionate about the art and knew details I had never heard before. It was so informative and exciting. Our whole group felt like we had an even more special experience b/c she was so amazing.

We were on a private walking tour in the downtown of Florence and in the next day, this wonderful and professional guide found us skip the line tickets for the Uffizi gallery, that we thought we wouldn't be able to see due to the short time we had in Florence. She was just perfect!! Very informative and she was explaining us with so much passion that we felt in love with Florence art, history and lifestyle!! My children they had a lot of questions and she had the patients to introduce them to the art and history world. My daughter now wants to study history at the uni. I can go on and on about the splendid time we had. She is very flexible and takes the needed time to find out what would be the best tour for you. We highly recommend her tours!!
