Stop and stare at the beauty and symmetry of the Basilica of Santa Croce any time day or night. Unraveling around it are a number of architectural and artistic masterpieces, from the Synagogue to the Central National Library. We were fortunate to be able to tour the Vasari Corridor and view the fabulous works of art. Our guide was a trip! She was italian but very dramatic and VERY knowledgeable.

The Vasari corridor - a hidden gem entered via the Uffizi
Nov 2015 • Couples
The Vasari corridor is entered via the Uffizi gallery and runs via the Ponte Vecchio .It has an excellent collection of self portraits and is only available to small groups also visiting the Uffizi. It offers some interesting views on the way including, if you are lucky, a priest conducting mass in an adjoining church/chapel.
It is necessary to book a combined tour of the Uffizi and the corridor and like all tours is far too hurried.
It can make for an interesting day out as you finish at the Boboli gardens and the Pitti palace - both well worth a visit

In conjunction with the Vasari Passage, beautiful secret Florence...
Jan 2016
Between Uffizi Gallery and Casa Vasari is the Passage. Special tours and times mean tickets essential. Good luck and enjoy!
