Least interesting church
Nov 2017 • Solo
San Felice is not a very important church to see. In fact it was the least interesting church I have seen in Florence.

You can see a video of this church in my film: Florence: The Smaller Churches of Firenze on my YouTube channel: Art and Travel by Dave.

Interesting church
May 2017 • Couples
From the outside San Felice in Piazza looks pretty ordinary and you would have to think twice about entering. However, once inside you are glad you made the right decision. Its gothic architectural style is beautiful and so are the various objects inside. It's worth a visit if you happen to be going by. It's just a little further down the road from the Pitti Palace.

Nice little 13th / 14th century church
May 2017 • Couples
I’ve learnt through many trips to Italy to not judge their churches by the exteriors and always to “poke your nose in” as we say in English to see what is inside and this one is another example where that is worth doing. The exterior is not much to look at but the interior includes the main chapel with its large stone arch and the painted wooden 14th century crucifix from the school of Giotto, and fragments of 13th century frescos combine with more modern fresco by Giovanni da San Giovanni.
It won’t take long, so take a look inside.

Lovely church
Sep 2016 • Couples
A lovely small church quite near to Palazzo Pitti. Its a nice church but not one of the must see churches in Florence so feel free to miss it out if you are short on time. It does have a lovely bell tower that is slightly different from the rest though.

Nice Gothic Church
May 2012 • Friends
Located at via Romana, just a couple of steps from Palazzo Pitti. A Church with a very simple exterior, but inside the beauty of its structural design, the artworks blends with the chants of singing choir. A very solemn place of worship!
