We spent a morning meandering through the exhibitions, including a comprehensive fashion exhibit & a fascinating collection of local artists. The interior is grand & expansive & beautifully curated.

The rooms in this gallery were just filled with art works: every wall had paintings of different sizes on it, with hardly any space between them, and every ceiling painted with frescoes. I love the artwork on the ceilings especially. I wonder what it is...More

The Uffizi gets most of the attention, and it is well deserved. But the galleries in the Pitti Palace are every bit as exceptional, and not as crowded. I had heard it was well worth a visit, but should have had it near the top...More

Do not miss the Palazzo Pitti even though it is a bit off the beaten track. The collection of Renaissance paintings is stunning - several Caravaggios and Raphaels are on display. In the Boboli Gardens you can find well-preserved Roman reliefs from the arch of...More

I am not sure. Please look online at the primary attraction. If you plan to see more things please look at the city pass as the easy access to most events was also a great perk!
