Forte di Belvedere will offer you absolutely stunning views of Florence in quaint surroundings. We were at the fort doing TV-interviews that came out looking really good, and the staff working at the property (not the production crew) were helpful and attentive throughout. We enjoyed...More

After exploring the Boboli Gardens, we walked up the hill to the Fort. The views of Florence are incredible and there was also a modern art installation, YTALIA. There is also a cafe so we were able to enjoy a nice glass of wine with...More

Found out about this from the posters about town and looked it up on the 'net. It was 35 degrees in Florence today and the climb up there was....challenging! But worth it!! They have Ytalia art exhibition on at the moment which made it all...More

Surprisingly Belvedere Fort in Florence had such few visitors that we were happy to get to discover it. The old fortress stands on top of a Friorentine hill in Florence and it gets 10-15 mins walk from Pitti Palace to get there. The views are...More

Forte Belvedere is a nice tour in itself: an ancient fortress with a superbe view on the city, ten minutes walk from Ponte Vecchio ( mind, the road is uphill, but you can take a bus and go back on foot after the visit) ....More
