Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.

I discovered this gem 5 years ago when I was last in Florence. I purchased a couple of things that Anastazija made and shipped to me. Some time later I broke the olive oil bottle much to my dismay but was able to contact her about making another. So going to see her this trip was a must. I now have a pitcher on order with her. She is delightful and extremely talented. Take the time to find her little shop and enjoy her unique style.

Updated Florentine Pottery- Beautiful
May 2019 • Friends
So many lovely things made by the artist on site, Anastazija Pampaloni. Reds, greens, blues, golds - a wide variety of colors. Platters, bowls - wish I bought a larger piece but I bought what I could fit in my carry on. I would highly recommend seeing Anastazija rather than buying something in shop that selling pottery.... among other things.

Unique and beautiful treasures from Firenze
May 2016 • Friends
While walking to our restaurant for dinner, my attention was captured by a beautiful and unique ceramic shop. I detoured for a brief visit with shop owner and artist, Anastazija Pampaloni. My only regret is that I wanted more time to shop with Anastazija and learn more about her stunning pieces. With so many touristy and disappointing souvenir shops, Limbo offered a locally designed and artfully crafted gallery of ceramic treasures. A find I had searched for throughout the day. In our brief talks, my friends and I learned that Anastazija has friends near our home town. I hope to find her work displayed in a local gallery in the near future. If you are searching for ceramic pieces that stay true to the style and history of Firenze, be sure to visit with Anastazija Pampaloni at Limbo and take home a memorable piece to share or keep as a momento of your trip to Italia!

A Florentine Treasure

Visiting Limbo is like walking back into Florentine history. Anastazija, owner and artist, will welcome you with a friendly Italian greeting. You'll quickly see her ceramics are of high quality and the designs one of a kind. She delights in telling you about her designs, and will safely package and ship your purchases all over the world. When my friends come over for a special Italian dinner party, I use Anastazija's ceramics. The food is always better this way! Stop and visit at Limbo next time in Florence.

Wonderful place!

If you like ceramic art, come here! The lady who owns the place makes everything herself, her plates and little art pieces are of the highest quality possible, very delicate in colour and pattern. The nicest souvenir of Florence ever!

Exceptional Talent
May 2013 • Friends
Anastazja Pampaloni, the artist owner, is extremely talented. Her tiny shop is a showcase for her unique and beautiful ceramic art. She decorates ceramic pieces by hand in the most intricate designs unlike anything else you will see in Florence - maybe even Italy! Her work is a nice change from the usual lemon, olive and poppy designs you see on pottery everywhere in Tuscany. She is currently decorating a pharmacy jar and olive oil bottle to mail to me when the work is complete. She is a delightful person and very accomodating. Unfortunately she does not have a website at this time but if you are in Florence, a trip to her shop will not disappoint.
