The tour guide was knowledgeable and provided detailed information taking us do all the major sites including the Colosseum, Sistine Chapel, Pantheon and others. The trip was well planned for us and all in all a delightful experience. Of note for cruise passengers that sign up for a Rome tour, abort a 70 mile drive, the driver is not allowed to leave the vehicle to offer any guide services and a separate guide must be separately arranged or you are dropped off on your own at the various sites. Our tour provided for complete coverage seamlessly. Other tours may offer complete service but I found none that met our needs

We had a wonderful private tour of Ancient Rome with Alessio. He was very generous with his knowledge and time. Both charming and relaxed. Worth every penny to skip the queues and have a really interesting and educational history lesson. Made me wish i had done more history at school back in the day ! When we booked a private tour we still had no idea it would be just the two of us with Alessio. It really made our trip to Rome and we left with wonderful memories and some great pictures ! Thanks Alessio.

Our family, including two adults and two teenagers, were absolutely delighted with our walking art tour of Florence. Our art historian guide was superb. She made David come to life with her insights. She enabled us to see works of art in a much richer way. My husband and I had previously visited Florence and we appreciated the spectacular works of art but Elena brought our understanding to a new level. Getting two teenaged boys engaged with art is not easy but Elena was successful! My husband and I are considering another trip to Florence to spend even more time with the artworks with Elena as our guide.

Without a doubt, the 6 hour private tour of Cinque Terre from La Spezia with Claudio, was the BEST tour we have ever booked! On this particular trip, we booked 5 different private tours with 5 different companies. We were thrilled with the attention to detail and thoroughness of Claudio and his company, Kiss From Italy. The initial contact was prompt and detailed. Hotel pickup is offered but we were on a cruise, so Claudio met us at the cruise terminal at the appointed time. We walked through La Spezia on an early Sunday morning as he told us the history and heritage of the area. (We were offered at taxi but chose to walk for about 30 minutes to our first train station.) Claudio took care of all the train tickets and guided us through the fairly big crowds in every station. It was unfortunate for us that the seas were quite rough, so we were unable to take the ferry into the towns as they were not running. Our first stop was Riomaggiore. Claudio assessed the train schedule and walked us through the lovely town as he told us about the heritage and traditions of the town. It is also unfortunate that much of the pathways connecting the five towns have been closed in places due to landslides. Exiting the train, we walked down toward the Mediterranean for stunning views of the town and lands. After about 45 minutes we headed back to the train to travel to our next spot, scenic Vernazza. Here, Claudio showed us the best gelato shop on the Cinque Terre, where my husband indulged in creamy, delicious gelato. We learned the history of the old, narrow buildings that line the harbor along with the story of the church by the sea in the town. We took a strenuous (for me) hike up a hillside for the most incredible view of the port and Mediterranean. Stunning! We walked the narrow alleyways of the town before heading back to the train. Our next and last stop was Monterosso. By now the crowds were beginning to build on the trains and it was quite crowded. We were grateful to have our guide with us to negotiate the traffic and the schedules. Rather than walking with the tourists, Claudio guided us up and around the town with spectacular scenic views of the beaches and Sea. At Monterosso, Claudio called ahead to reserve a table for us at a local restaurant (Al Pozzo) he was familiar with. The town was absolutely packed with tourists. We were surprised at the crowds as we thought September would be less crowded. We learned that hikers come to the area in droves in the Fall. We invited Claudio to join us for lunch. He guided us through the menu, suggesting the local dishes of pasta with rich pesto and mussels with red sauce and pasta. We finished with the necessary tiramisu. A feast for all! After a bit of walking about, we headed back to the train station for the ride back to La Spezia. This time, we did take a taxi back to the port. I cannot imagine taking this journey on our own considering the crowds and train schedules. Claudio was a font of information and made our limited time in Cinque Terre extra special. Highly recommend Claudio and Kiss from Italy tour company.

Teo was an absolutely amazing skipper and tour guide. He knows the area very well! We were able to cruise around the island, stop for swims, dip into the green grotto, and snorkel. He also gave us a great recommendation for lunch! With the minibar and the speakers to connect your music (if you'd like) I don't know much better, how much more fun and relaxing this excursion can get!
