This museum is an honor to visit. Rodolfo Siviero retrieved many items that had been stolen during WWII. The video was in Italian and not loud enough to hear. It was an interview and I suspect very interesting.....hope the sound will be fixed soon. Other than that, the people were kind and supportive, a gentle and enjoyable museum visit.

I found this listed as an option with the Firenze pass and it's a delightful little stop. Free entry, opening hours listed on the website as Saturday, 10.00 am - 6.00 pm (from September to June); 10.00 am-2.00 pm and 3.00 pm-7.00 pm (July-August); Sunday and Monday 10.00 am -1.00 pm (all year round).

It was interesting to see the home museum of the gentleman that had rescued much of the art that was taken by the Germans during WWII. It is a free museum. We were the only ones there on a Saturday when we visited in January. The signage was in English.

Situated along a beautiful stretch of the Arno, opposite the Uffizi, this collection is beautiful - and very eclectic, ranging from Etruscan sculpture to 20th century design. Despite being almost directly across the river from the queues for the Uffizi, Casa Rodolfo Siviero is peaceful - when I visited, I had the place to myself! (with the exception of two... More
