Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.

Amazing Experience
Jun 2019 • Family
This was the highlight of our trip to Italy so far. We started early in the morning at the market with the chef. I would highly recommend this to anyone doing this tour. We sampled cheese, balsamic vinegar, truffle oil and focaccia bread. Washes down with a espresso of course. We selected the protein for the meal (fresh fish and prawns), grabbed some fresh vegetables and parsley and hit the road. We talked about the meal and were given recipe books that contained everything we were going to make for the day. It was amazing. Everyone participated in making the meal, and we had wine and ate as we went. After the meal was finished, we sat down with the chef and ate. To be honest, fish is not my favorite, and I never would have ever ordered what we made at a restaurant ... but it was amazing and I would do this again next time we come back.

My wife and I had a great experience with Chef Luciano! We would do this class all over again. There were a total of five couples and we all were involved with preparing the meal. My wife and I both agree this could easily be our last meal and we would be happy:-). We highly recommend this activity!

Wow, what a value, what an experience

This was simply so amazing. 6 of us total (and total strangers). Wonderful kitchen in a castle on 500 year old stone. So for all of us, this is what we cooked. Steak Florentine (A 3" thick T-bone at least 2 plus pounds), asparagus Risotto, Osso Buco, two kinds of Foccacia, homemade ravioli with fresh spinach stuffing, sautéd squash, cake with made from scratch chocolate icing.

This was in the down and dirty, as close as it gets. We chopped, kneaded, scraped, cleaned and basted. These dishes came alive in our hands and it was so awesome and the chef was just a hoot...funny, flirting, and FULL of wisdom!

Well worth the price and the individual attention.
