Waited quite a bit to enter the tower but it was worth it. I wish they had better signage to point you towards the top level as the stairs are sometimes hidden within the columns. If you are sensitive to loud noises, I would not recommend going during the middle of the day as I did (at noon). The views were incredible from every level, and totally worth going up the steps. I would mention, for anyone claustrophobic, it does get very tight towards the top.

There were a lot of stairs to get on top but it was worth it. A beautiful panoramic view of the city of Florence and a great view of the mountains. The Dome and this tower offers the same view.

Another amazing building in Florence. Hard to believe a place this beautiful is that old. The intricate exterior decorations were amazing.

This campanile by Giotto is a beautiful landmark attached to the duomo with Brunelleschi's dome. There is so much magic here!

Fantastic view once you are at the top! In my opinion, after visiting both, The Tower and The Dome are offering the same view.

I would choose The Dome and skip The Tower.

Giotto Campanile is aamazing especially the view looking back over the Cupola. My wife and I did climb both the bell tower and the cupola in the same day and even that was a little hard on the legs. After 414 steps you reach the top and you can admire a really wonderful view. Reccomended

This cost me 15 euro, and I thought I'd get more for my money. It's a nice thing to do and an impressive structure and view of the city, but for the price it's simply not worth it. The staff weren't particularly enthusiastic or helpful.

There are a lot of steps, but several floors to have a rest on!

Info boards tell you all you need to know and the views are stunning.

We booked online and picked an early time slot (10:30-11:30) there were only us two plus another couple so four in total on our alloted entry time. When leaving there were much bigger groups which makes it tricky passing on the stairs.

For safety you have to wear a neck buzzer so you don't get too close to others (covid).

The tower has four floors and the final set of stairs are narrow and spiral. None of the flights of stairs have a hand rail!

The view is worth the effort but even in our late 20s this exhausted us especially with having to wear a mask.

Prior to starting this, make sure you take note of the ‘not for the faint hearted’ memo.
The climb consists of around 420 steps, some of which are narrow and you will struggle to place your whole foot on.
Some people took breaks part way up the steps as it really does take it out of you!
Having said this, once you reach the top the views are just outstanding and make each step worth it!
