This 19th century piazza has undoubtedly the best panoramic view of Florence. The square is decorated with copies of Michelangelo's sculptures, but it's the view people come here to see.

Probably the best view of Florence You’ll get! Absolutely worth a visit! If you’re travelling with a toddler like us it’s worth taking a cab up there

The Piazzale is a short taxi ride from town across the river. The vistas are spectacular no matter the time of day. Some evenings in the summer there is music which makes it all the more special. A great overview of Fabulous Florence.

Only visited here briefly on our way to a wine tour but the view is breathtaking! A stunning view of Florence and the Duomo. Some little tourist-type market stalls but nothing else major. Great place for a little stop off.

What an enchanting lookout to view Florence at night. I used bus 12 to get up there. I loved seeing families, couples, and teens enjoying snacks on the steps. Such a stunning view at sunset and the lights of Florence. Romance and art !

You can get here from the city center by stairs or bus. Either way it’s worth taking the time to visit. From this point the view of Florence is beautiful.

This is absolutely the best view of florence. Touristy but worth it if you are driving out of the city. We watched someone making jewelry and bought a charm handmade with glass mosaic. We also got some great pictures.

Look at the photos—they say all that need to be said. Well, one other thing, the walk isn’t for the faint of heart. If you have mobility issues, take the very convenient bus. But if you’re up for a challenge, walk. It’ll take you through...More

I took a golf cart tour service called Verde Oliva. It lasted about 90 to 120 minutes and we got to see the main attractions all over Florence. One of them was Piazzale MIchelangelo. The driver knew the best spot for... More
