This 19th century piazza has undoubtedly the best panoramic view of Florence. The square is decorated with copies of Michelangelo's sculptures, but it's the view people come here to see.

Every tourist goes there, very crowded. If you really want to see Firenze from the top go to Fiesole the hill top town in Firenze, which is 20 minutes bus ride. When you walk up the hill from the bus stop, the panorama is breathtaking.

Great views of Florence and surrounding area. Its hike to get up there, but well worth it. Consider a taxi.

Go here for sunset and like us and many other people, get a bottle of wine from the local seller (10euros) and sit for a couple of hours soaking up the atmosphere and changing landscape.

No doubt, the best view in Florence! But be ready to go up a bit to see it. Very clean and worth spending a few hours. The garden is beautiful too! I took about 100 photos over there!
