Definitely recommend this. Best view of Florence. It’s only a 20 min walk from the Ponte Vecchio and worth the climb!

Yes can sit outside and drink wines. trouble always finds its way around but just be aware! walked nearly everywhere. from the bridge to top of the piazza about 30-45mins. I hope you enjoy it all in firenza.
