This was my third time to this tiny amazing glove store. You are in for a treat as the staff fits your hands for beautifully styled leather and suede gloves. Their selection is like no other and the quality will last for decades!!
This is a long time family business making beautiful gloves for men and women. The leather quality is excellent, the workmanship outstanding, the style and design is wonderful. Attention to customer service is very good and pricing is reflective of the above.
Several friends have shopped at Madova many times so I was prepared to be impressed. Right over the Pontevecchio on the left, this small space houses gloves of so many beautiful colors that I had a very hard deciding. The service is wonderful and patient!...More
Buttery soft leather wears well, cashmere lining is warm enough for Michigan, USA. Plus, the company solved a problem to my complete satisfaction, though I was partly responsible for the dilemma. This is a great company, excellent product, and very good customer service.
This was a great find when visiting Florence. I wanted to purchase several pairs of leather gloves while visiting Italy and was fortunate enough to find this store. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly.
My daughter checked every glove shop in Rome, Florence, and Lucca she came upon for opera length white leather gloves. No one had any. We almost missed Madova, which was at the end of our street, because of road construction. Finding them was like Dorothy...More
This small shop near the Ponte Vecchio has excellent service as well as a vast variety of beautiful gloves for both men and women. The staff is very helpful and the service is quick, but not rushed. Excellent quality at reasonable prices.
It wasn't a planned visit - just my husband didn't bring any gloves with him and it turned rather cold in November, so a local recommended us this place right by the Ponte Vecchio on the Oltrarno side. The shop is very small and sells...More
When we entered Madova Gloves, the shop was so crowded. I thought it would take forever to be served, but before I knew it, it was my turn to be treated like royalty. The special little cushion is placed on the counter for you, then...More
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through
Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
