Our enoteca welcomes everyone who loves Italian wines. Located just a few steps from piazza Santa Croce. The idea is to promote small boutique wineries, where the production is just big enough for the italian market. You can not get any of these wines outside of Italy, but this is not big problem since you just have to contact us and we can get you anything you would like. We ship all over the world.

We had a wonderful time tasting wines and olive oil in this shop. It was one of the highlights of our trip! Tony was a wonderful host and we shipped a case of wine home to the US. You should go visit while you are there if you like wine and talking with the local purveyors.

We have been in Florence 3 times and stop in every time. Tony opened our eyes to some delicious wines. I've used them for Christmas presents several times and they ship!

While there are many wonderful things to be found in Florence, the time spent in Tony's shop (in 2008) was one of the highlights of our visit to this gorgeous and culture rich city. Tony and his staff were warm, friendly, informative, and approachable while he was also particularly charismatic, charming and extremely knowledgeable about all wines. We have remained... More

We were on a Mediterranean cruise for our honeymoon and chose the "Florence on your Own" excursion. When the bus dropped us off in the main square, we were confident to walk around on our own, but really wanted to try some local wines. The bus tour guide recommended Enoteca Pontevecchio and it was the best stop of our entire... More

During our trip to Florence to see our Daughter (Study Abroad) we wanted to meet the people that had offered an internship, and made her feel like part of the family. A bonus to meeting Tony and Laura, was the opportunity to try their products. If you like Wine, Olive Oil, and / or Balsamic Vinegar, you will have to... More

First off, I know TA is looking for recent visit reviews, but I want to share my experience as I believe Tony and his wife strive to really share their lives with you, educate you, and do more than just sell great wines. They treat everyone like a friend. I first visited this shop in 2002 before Tony bought it.... More

My wife and I stopped in here for wine tasting, looking to have some shipped back. We ended up tasting wine, olive oil and balsamic vinegar, all of which were great. The lady that helped us was super nice and knowledgeable. We ended up buying a bunch of wine, olive oil and balsamic vinegar, which they shipped to our house... More

Loved every moment spend in this place. I have visited with a group of 9 travelers. The wine tasting was informative and engaging. Wines chosen were tasty and we have enjoyed a lot. We were having lunch in Florence and we asked our waiter for a wine shop recommendation. He sent us to "Enoteca Pontevecchio". We were not disappointed and experienced a wonderful, impromptu wine tasting. They had a great selection and they shipped a case of Brunello to our home in the USA - safe and sound. If you are interested in... More
