Nice but highly in need of proper maintenance
Jun 2021 • Couples
The garden is quite big where you could spend some time, but it looks not maintained at all. The bushes need trimming. There is a lot mold in the (fountain) water, which is actually quite disgusting. This garden has a lot potential, but I am not sure if it is worth 10 euros. Maybe 50 years ago.

Beautiful

Beautiful small garden located in the heart of Florence.
Not quite as grand as Boboli, but equally as stunning and definitely worth a visit.
A ticket for the Boboli also grants access to Bardini.
Some of the views of Florence from the terrace in the gardens is stunning and a perfect spot to stop for a break.

Average garden with mediocre views
Sep 2020 • Couples
Don’t be fooled by the 5*. Only enter if you’re willing to pay €10 for a below average ‘garden at that has mediocre views of the city. Better views in Bobili and Michelangelo Piaza. Also, staff weren’t the most polite in the world.

A hidden gem
Aug 2020 • Solo
The garden was recommended by a guide book and it did not disappoint. It is quite simply the most beautiful view on Florence. Definitely worth the climb. I was able to get some fresh air despite the heat. Do not miss this hidden gem!

The gardens were nice to have a walk around but aren't very big and the views of Florence weren't the best either. You're better off going to Piazelle Michaelango for a better view of the city. That's free too, unlike the fairly expensive entry ticket to the gardens.

Yikes
Feb 2020 • Couples
We’ve travelled extensively through Europe and always enjoy exploring the local parks (both free and paid) and never reviewed anything under 4 stars. We were baffled to say the least that they charge for this park and that anyone has left over a one star review. There are much better views for free (Rose Garden being one) than Bardini.

Friendly Staff and a Beautiful View
Dec 2019 • Friends
We visited the gardens in December, and so while there was not many plants, the view was enhanced by a lack of leaves around the views. The price was worth it just to hang out, sit, and relax for a while.

A really beautiful garden

Make sure you have some sturdy shoes on and can walk up and down hills. An amazingly beautiful place and well worth the walking. Breathtaking sculptures everywhere with a fantastic view across Florence

Disappointed is an understatement.

Wow , don’t know where all these 5 star reviews are coming from , although if you take time to read through a lot of them they mention the lovely view which seems to have heavily swayed their judgement.
Let me tell you , 10 euros each to walk round a poorly maintained garden , and I use the word garden loosely. I know a reviewer has mentioned at the beginning of September that there wasn’t a flower in sight and I should have read the reviews first , or some might say I should have known there would be no flowers at this time of year but this place must be taking tourists for mugs . Not a single flower in sight , walk through the trees along a path past untended bushes ( honestly there is nothing else ) and yes there is a view when you get near the end BUT you can get an even better view from the nearby Piazalle Michelangelo for free and it’s a lovely walk up there.
An untended garden with no flowers should either be free or a couple of euros as a token charge , we wanted so much to love this place but you know when you feel that you have genuinely been ripped off we feel it’s only fair to others know.
