We used SmartCruiseTours for multiple tours including Florence and Ostia Antica. Two couples shared a large 9 seater van and had the pleasure of personal service at its best. We were able to enter Florence itself and long walks were minimized by having a vehicle that was allowed into the busiest areas. I would highly recommend this company for their... More

We had an excellent experience with this company. They paired us with a wonderful woman by the name of Valbonesi. It was just my husband and me for the guided tour. Valbonesi did an excellent job of giving us the highlights of Florence in about 21/2 - 3 hours. She held our attention with her knowledge and her english was... More

Our Medici Tour with Paolo was outstanding. She was most personable and very knowledgeable about the city-- the three hours flew by. My husband and I have been to Florence before and we still learned more. I would highly recommend the tour and this guide to first time and repeat visitors to this wonderful city.

Like in the modern usage of the term Curate's Egg, our tours with Walks Inside Florence were a mix of good and bad. To begin with, the administration is excellent. The office handled our bookings with efficiency and clarity. They even arranged a guide for the Uffizi on very short ( 12 hours ) notice. We contacted our first guide... More

Hello John! Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It is really important for us to receive customer feedback even when the review is not excellent. We're really sorry that you didn't enjoy the Uffizi Tour and you felt like you were being "quizzed". I'm positive that wasn't the guide's intention and since she's had so many... More

Get dumped in the square and you don't care. Walk to the clock tower and turn left to see the open air museum of sculptures. All the narrow streets are exciting and you will walk several km and not notice. I will stay in a hotel in Florence next time and see the Etruscan countryside. History nuts must enjoy the... More

Anna was a great guide! We loved the day in Tuscany! The countryside is beautiful, the vans we were transported in very comfortable, the driver was very safe. Highly recommend!

My family of three including my 11 year old daughter loved our tour with Emily to the Uffizi museum, the Duomo, and the Acedemia. Emily was very knowledgeable of the history of the art and the influences of Florence. She made extra effort to keep our daughter engaged with all the history. I would recommend a tour with her for... More

We only had one day to explore Florence and wanted to learn as much as possible and see the highlights without having to wait in line. Paola was knowledgeable, interesting and tailored the tour perfectly to our wishes. Her ability to guide us through the busy Ufizzi, Academia, Duomo and various Piazzas while telling us all about the art history... More

There is so much to see and do in Florence, and you have only a few days there, a tour with a well-informed tour guide is a recommended course of action. We choose the Gems of the Renaissance tour, which ran from 930-1230. We were tired by then! We enjoyed the primary works found in the Uffizi Gallery - paintings... More

In 2009 we used this company for a tour of the Uffizzi and the Accademia and we're very pleased. This year we had only one day in Florence and booked a " Florence in One Day" tour. Jeanne and Paola were very helpful in arranging and communicating. Emanuela Gavilli was our tour guide- she was quite I firmed and entertaining.... More
