We had a an amazing time of the Florence for Foodies Tour: our host Dina was really good and passionate about the foods and wines we were sampling. Splendid idea, beautifully realised. We met on the San Lorenzo steps at about 10:10 and spent the next four hours eating, drinking and exploring what Florence has to offer. Dina was an informed and witty host. We sampled pastries, cheeses, panini, meats, learned about Tuscan wines and got sprayed with excellent grappa. I shouldn’t have much breakfast before you arrive.... More

Spent our first day in Florence with Dina. Had a great time, ate great food and met wonderful people. Have traveled a lot in Europe, but this was our first food tour. Would definitely recommend to do this at the beginning of the trip to help get acquainted with the city and culture. Loved it!!!

My wife and I contacted FFF two days before our tour looking for openings to the Nude and Food tour. The "Nude" portion was booked, but fortunately we were able to participate in the food tour part, and we are so glad we did! Dina was an excellent guide for the morning and early afternoon. She took us to a... More

We contacted Florence for Foodies just a few days before our trip to Florence and met Sam who was our Nude and Food tour guide on the day. We were especially delighted as it turned out that Sam had decided to run the tour just for us as January is not the height of the tourist season! Having said that... More

FFF's food walking tour was fabulous! Dina took me through the San Lorenzo market and a veritable wonderland of carefully chosen vendors. She was friendly, personable and knowledgeable, which made for a lovely morning of tasting and learning about Tuscan specialties. Don't miss the pecorino with truffles!!

We met Mimi, an Italian art history major, doing her masters. Born and raised in Florence she was the perfect guide. Incredible knowledge of the history behind each building and it added a whole new dimension to the city. She took us to hidden gems and explained the culture and history. I would highly recommend this trip.

This is a wonderful way to spend your first day in Florence -- see the "David" statue, and then walk around sampling wonderful food from classic locales in Florence. What could be wrong with this? Absolutely nothing. Our tour guide, Natalie, was wonderful, effusive, and passionate about Florentine culture, art, and food. She told us everything we needed to know... More
