So many beautiful pictures to take. So many lovely things to see. Caveat emptor: The closer you are to this tourist-hub, the more expensive your meal or coffee or snack or acqua minerale or postcard will be. Get your tickets at the convenient biglietteria across...More

This Square is dominated by the Duomo. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in the Square, but also many tourists visiting the Duomo, and tour groups visiting the Square. Add to this the street sellers taking up space and traffic trying to edge...More

These Cathedrals are amazing. Just be sure that you are properly covered if you want to go inside. So no short skirts, shorts, or shoulders showing (mainly pertains to women)

Very impressive piazza, religious places aren't my favourite but this square is truly impressive. I found the colours very unusual, I wasn't expecting it to look like that. Worth seeing!

Walking around the Cathedral is very amazing. But if you want to drink or eat something at the piazza it is very expensive. We have visited this place nearly everyday because we couldn't get enough of the view at the Cathedral.

Visually stunning, too much to take in a first sight. Truly amazing and a must see when visiting Florence. Entry tickets at €15 are reasonable but you should book to avoid disappointment.

We were on our second visit to the city of Florence. After spending a long time walking through the narrow streets and lanes, we eventually arrived at the Piazza del Duomo. This splendid city square was so crowded with people that one was barely able...More

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by
an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city.
The historic center is characterized by the immensity
of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the
brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does
not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni

You can visit it any time of the day. The restaurants in the piazza are open till late and you can always walk down the nearby roads and find lots of stalls for road side shopping.
