This palazzo was not on any agenda but I happened to pass by and decided to pop in! What a treat. In addition, consider getting the Firenze 72 hour 72 euro card which gives you access to literally hundreds of museums (each costs around 10...More

Many other reviewers have rightly pointed out the beauty of the Palazzo Strozzi and of its contemporary art and renaissance art exhibitions, so we just wanted to make a more mundane practical point - the Palazzo Strozzi's ticket office is the most convenient location to...More

Palazzo Strozzi is a great building, as it is a palace, and is full of history. It has some magnificent areas and works of art to look at. Regarding its history, the Medicis also have had something to do with it too.

The palace is a location for some temporary exhibitions. When I was in the Palazzo we've visited the Bill Viola exhibition. Outstanding.

I spend much time in Firenze and always go to see the current show at Palazzo Strozzi. The galleries are in a Renaissance era Palazzo, renovated to provide marvelous and spacious display space. The location central, is just down from Piazza della Republica. Over the...More

The Strozzi Palace facade is stunning and stands out in a stunning area where everything is amazing. There are always exhibits to look at inside making it a good spot to pass a spare hour or two.

Another gallery of which Florence abounds. Some good displays and while I was there was an exhibition of glassware which was beautiful. A grand building more like a prison but yet another Florence gallery / museum. There is so much artwork here. Find it and...More

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by
an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city.
The historic center is characterized by the immensity
of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the
brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does
not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni
Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is
enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city
