If you only have a short amount of time make sure to go to Santa Croce! Michelangelo, Dante, Machiavelli, and Galileo are all buried here. This is absolutely gorgeous and we could have spent hours inside.

See where Michelangelo and Galileo are entombed. Enrico Fermi and Marconi are there as well. I am always in awe of the old churches.

In an old part of town, this church complex is large and worth your time, We did not bother with the leather school, but loved the pazzi chapel by Bruneleschei and the Bardi chapel with Frescos by Giotto.

Where do you find the testing place of Michelangelo, and Galileo, Dante...All in one place. Amazing, this does not include the beauty of the church. The life here is just stunning.

They charge you to go in so I didn't pay. But if you do just make sure it is open certain hours and dress respectfully.

We thought this was better than the duoma. Inside was wonderful. So much to see. It's also bigger than we thought.
