A magnificent basilica with some outstanding art. Do also go to the cenacolo and do not miss the Pazzi Chapel. Leave enough time to absorb the atmosphere both in the church itself and the Pazzi Chapel.

With only two days on Florence, we elected to not line up for hours to see the top sites (Duomo, David, Ufizi) and this Basilica for the bill. No long lines and only €8 entry this Basilica blew us away. Seeing the tombs of Michelangelo...More

Such a wonderful square before it and the most beautiful interiors. Bottecelli frescoes and where Michelangelo and Galileo are laid to rest. Really intriguing atmosphere.

We had a Firenze card and walked right in with no reserved time. Highly recommend getting the card generally.
