This little-visited church was one of Florence's most important churches during the Renaissance. Botticelli is buried here, along with his muse, Simonetta Vespucci. Don't miss the exquisite Domenico Ghirlandaio "Last Supper," the very one Leonardo da Vinci admired before painting his.

Slightly off the beaten tourist track and all the better for it. Unusual for Florence in that it is Baroque in style. A marvellous Giotto crucifix, Botticellis and Ghirlandios and yet another reviewer said that there were no artworks. Was that during the restoration?

I did not realize that this is the burial place of Amerigo Vespucci, Simonetta Vespucci & Sandro Botticelli. The church has paintings by Ghirlandaio, Botticelli and a crucifix by Giotto. Be sure to visit the cloisters to see The Last Supper by Ghirlandaio.

Pretty fifteenth century church of All Saints, cloister and refectory steeped in history and topped with a tower visible across the city

It's just another Romanesque Italian church. There are no fabulous paintings, no eye stopping architecture. Pretty enough, but not a tourist attraction.

The monastery of Ognissanti was founded by brothers of Humiliati in 1239. It was then renovated by the Franciscan since 1561. I consider it a must-see. Frescoes are beautiful and you will see a representation of the last supper which is perhaps one of the...More

This was the last stop of our visit to Florence, to cap it all by visiting the resting place of Botticelli. However, we could not find it at first until we realized that over it had been built a quite fancy memorial chapel to Caroline...More

The Chiesa di Ognissanti is a stunning place. Beautiful architecture and spectacular sculptures, paintings and a range of other artifacts. This is something not to be missed. The floor may be simple enough, butt the walls and the ceiling in particular, are stunning. No steps...More

Of course, go and look at its mastepieces (Giotto, Botticelli, Ghirlandaio etc.). Visit the burial places of Vespucci, Botticelli, the Bonaparte Chapel. But do not forget to look at the ceiling from all angles: it's a magnificent lesson in the use of perspective on inclined...More
