Didn't know much about Florence before this tour, but learned quite a bit. I knew there would be physical history being an old town, but was amazed to learn about all the historical people from the area. Go if you have the chance!
Bus went too fast and the commentary was not at all good. Could not tell where the buildings were. It was useful for a trip out to Fiesole but cafes there very pricey!

San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on
Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.
