I only visited this square once. There were a couple of outdoor cafes, but best of all were the great views of Camucia and the valley. There was more traffic in this Piazza than the ones further in town.

A welcoming statue welcomed us to Old Town Cortona as it is the entrance to the Old Town. Great views from there. Our hotel was right there.

We loved the view from Piazza Garibaldi. It is one of the best views overlooking the countryside below Cortona.

Cortona is really so breathtaking that seeing the panorama for this Piazza is just the icing on the cake...Just lovely, looming clouds and ancient vistas...can't get much better.
