Loved the cable car ride to the beach, but an awful lot of steps down to the shingle beach, very hard to walk on as it hurt my feet.It costs 15 euro each for a sunbed and umbrella, rip off so we stayed at our pool for the...More

We spent our last day in Taormina at Lido Mazzaro. Great beach with great service. Love the fact that we didn't have to walk around looking for a drink. Everything was brought to the chairs. Highly recommend the pizza at the restaurant by the entrance...More

The water is clear and beautiful. The sun beds are expensive but that is Raormina. good restourants, also a bit expensive. You can find jellyfish in the see some time so be cautious.

Was there briefly for the day and the water was beautiful, a boat tour would probably be a good choice to explore the coastline and coves nearby. I was surprised to see so many people laying on the "beach" which is not soft and sandy...More

Nothing to like, although it was still out of they main season and nothing open which was fine, the condition of the beach and the town appeared dirty and unloved

Mazzaro (accent on the last syllable) compares with those special little scenic coves of the Amalfi Coast or the French and Italian Rivieras. It is bordered by three sizeable towns - the beach towns of Letojanni to the north, Giardini Naxos to the south and...More

This is a nice picturesque sheltered Bay. Yes you have to pay if you want to hire sunbeds, parasols etc but the costs are similar to elsewhere, you can haggle to reduce the cost. The water is slightly unclean due to the tour boats and...More
