Bought a gorgeous hand-painted silk scarf in this small shop. You can watch the artist at work, as she explains the process. Each scarf prettier than the next. And the prices are very reasonable. Wish I had bought another! Wonderful to support a craftsperson, too.

Hélène's creations are divine; each piece is unique. Her store is a veritable Aladdin's cave where you'll find beautiful art and get interesting conversation as a bonus. Prices too are very reasonable. Next time I'm in Syracusa, this will be my first stop.
