We visited late in the season, late in the day and had the luxury of a guide all to ourselves. Discovered all kinds of mechanisms that were new to us, loved being able to get up close to the exhibits and learned a great deal, thanks to our guide's pretty good English and our pretty ropey Italian. Low-key, charming and... More

This is a good idea poorly executed and badly maintained. The idea of life size or scale working models of Archimedes civil engineering and war machines is a good one in the city of his birth. But many of the models are poorly constructed and have deteriorated badly in the outdoor environment. Repairs to the exhibits are very shoddy and... More

6 euros entry. This well advertised park is run down and some of the exhibits were non functioning or broken. It takes no more than 15 minutes to walk around with the information on the iPad provided difficult to hear and losing a lot in translation. It could be so much better as it is an interesting idea. The Leonardo... More

Great place but no written explanations in any language, no pamphlet, and tours only provided for Italians - English version of electronic guide v obscure and left us none the wiser rendering us completely bemused by what we were seeing and trying to work out how to use the various fascinating models - almost crushed by reproduction pulleys and ballistas....... Even though there are a lot of good reviews of the place her on TripAdvisor, the place is not worth a visit. My dad and i went there but was disappointed. The machine were in a bad state, there were no sigs telling you about it and it was so small. Not worth the 6€ they charge.

Unless you are a super geek this is not really going to float your boat. It's small and relevant but you do need to go out of your way to see it and I can't say you'll spend your time wisely if you do. You're better off going to see a puppet show.

The fact that we could just walk around the park by ourselves and take a closer look to the objects without a rush was simply great. You could also touch and take pictures of objects! After the tour the staff gave more details about the park and were extremely generous. Remember to ask for a good restaurant! Definitely worth a... More

they want 6 € for this very small park. three people would cost 12 €... its really very small, but it might be interesting for kids. At the end they try to sell you their Archimedis game. People there were friendly, but its absolutely overprized...

This is the funniest attraction I have ever seen.....well it would be funny if it didn't cost €6 each for entry. This is a sad place, full of broken 'exhibits'....half look like a school project and the whole place is unloved and uncared for. You're given an A4 booklet to read but it's difficult to match the correct page up... More
