Must visit if you love football

Amazing atmosphere, cheap tickets between 6 - 22 euro's. we struggled to find where to buy tickets so this may help you. la feltrinelli libri e musica on via cavour - a music book department store go to ground floor and ticket window, you will need pasport or driving licence as i.d. - the bus you need is the 101 which on match day drops you around half a mile from the stadium, which is a bit run down - ladies the toliets have no paper, no seats and no door locks ! the atmosphere inside the stadium is amazing - they sing from start to finish non stop, with only around 8-10 thousand fans it was louder than my club back home who have around 25 thous. there is someone walking round with drinks to buy during the game and they sell ice cream, outside the ground before the game is a concourse selling fake merch, beer and food, the bus back is a bit of a treck, we were told the bus stop is accros the road from the stadium - which it is but not when a match is on due to traffic restrictions - we had to walk a long way down and asked a few people where the stop was so beware.

An absolute Must-See while spending some time in Palermo! I've been to lots of professional football stadiums before but this one definitely nailed it. Awesome experience!

Interesting And Not Boring
Oct 2017 • Couples
As we were in Palermo decided to go and watch Palermo play in Serie B, we thought it would be easy to just turn up and buy a ticket an hour before kick off but despite the fact the ground only had about 7- 8,000 in it and seated 35,000 this turned out not to be the case.

We were turned back at a security barrier and had to walk about 3/4 mile to a lotto shop/tabachi to buy a ticket, beware though you do need a form of goverment ID to do so, before we were allowed to enter the security zone and then several security checks where both ticket and ID were needed to be shown.

The best place is probably Curva Sud but most of the stadium is uncovered so you will either get very suntanned or very wet.

Good views from the upper tiers with the mountain overlooking as well, entertaining game for 10 euros althoug little in the way of refreshment wit only a couple of guys selling coke and crisps from a tray walking around the stadium.

All in all a cheap way to spend an afternoon but make sure that you plan it properly and buy a ticket in advance from one of the shops in the centre of palermo, otherwise it could be a bit of a pain

Stadium in a great setting, cheap tickets
Apr 2017
When I was in Palermo I went to a US Palermo match. Tickets were as cheap as seven euros! Still, the stadium was quite empty, which was a pity. The stadium is a typical older Italian one: not too flashy, nit too well maintained. But the backdrop with the mountain is just amazing.

Leaked like a sieve and in poor condition.
Oct 2016
Booked premium seats for my wife and I to see a “Serie A” game in Palermo, but unfortunately it rained. The seats were under cover of the above floor, but the water leaked through the floor and poured down. The stadium is in a poor condition.
All the spectators crowded up into our area and we could not see the game. Had to stand to see what you could and was very uncomfortable. Eventually soaked through and cold. Ended up leaving at half time. Big waste of money!
Sad, I had hoped to see some quality Euro Football and enjoy the energy of the crowd.

Great atmosphere, the stadium was 80% full and the supporters were cheering a lot. Really exciting and definitely worth visiting a game if you are in the city.

Palermo v Udinese
We went to see Palermo v Udinese in a serie A game.
The stadium itself is nice, a bit worn around the edges but very hospitable.
The fans are amazing.
Great atmosphere for the game, pity the team didn't play to there potential.
