A famous fountain, too bad it's a bit hidden between so many attractive old historical buildings. Worth stopping by.

This fountain is totally over the top and featured animals and monsters and nudies 😊 I think the southern italians are a bit miffed and call it the fountain of shame. It’s a shame that heads have been taken off and it’s in a bit...More

This is a selfie users paradise for those who are desperate to get liked by their friends! Apart from that the statues are in need of some refurbishment but the atmosphere is good when the selfie users have gone

Delightful square with beautiful fountain and sculptures surrounded by many churches. We came early and there were not too many people around so we were able to get some good photos

I fell in love with this enormous fountain. It is full of beautifully carved animals (and a few monsters) that coexist with classical nudes. It is quite bizarre, but very enjoyable.

Beautiful piece of art and the story behind it was fascinating Take plenty of photos and bring you walking shoes as the peble stone roads are at time tough on your feet Worth the visit when in town

It's really quite pretty, with a number of animal head sculptures as part of the fountain- very unusual. And close to other sights as well, very convenient.

Possibly my favourite part of our visit to Palermo. An exquisite fountain in a beautiful location. Definitely worth a visit

A lot of things costs an entrance fee in Palermo. This fountain is free, it is beautiful and you can walk on it. There is a bit of interesting history connected with it that you should take the time to read up on.
