This is a typical market with lots of vendors/stalls selling fruit and vegetables, cheese and nuts, spices, flowers, clothing, home and kitchen accessories, etc. It is located just east of Park Giardino Bellini. Very crowded but enjoyable to walk around.

This is a great market, with lots of stalls selling almost everything you can think of. But it is the fruit and veg stalls that really make it worth visiting. The sights, sounds and smells are fantastic, and the produce is simply amazing. Great way...More

This market was way more than we expected. Booths filled the square and spilled into all the side streets. Everything from fish and produce to clothes, shoes and purses. We lucked out finding parking nearby - driving in Catania was quite an experience. It seemed...More

The food section of this market is brilliant. It does make you feel like a local for a moment. So many busy vendors with so much excellent product on show. My Italian isn't good enough to haggle but if yours is it would be an...More
