Beautiful nature reserve with flamingos and other birds. Nice view points and clean seaside. Snorkelling near the rocks was fantastic. Bring good shoes, some walking to do in order to be rewarded by the view and hidden beautiful places at the coastline. Absolutely a hidden...More

I was subject to this scam too, on 6/6/18. Fairly plausible at first actually. I had not heard of this scam before. Scammer was asking for 80euro to end the matter, after first asking for ID and insurance details. He was not aggressive with me....More

Spent a lovely afternoon here exploring and finished it off with a swim, followed by delicious granita from a vendor at the gate. The Tonnara is well preserved and there was a fashion photo shoot on there when we visited. Saw lots of birds and...More

We had been staying nearby in San Lorenzo to the south (seeing not that much walking in to the reserve via the southern trails) and missed the fact that we should have driven in to the Main area of the reserve. We were stunned to...More

This is not a place where you can sip a drink and enjoy the view. This is where you can sit and watch the blurry horizon undisturbed and listen to the ocean (not very inviting though with the lava black color waves). Be prepared to...More

Much of this reserve was fences off -- and what was open was rather scruffy. We wanted to walk and swim and managed both only to a very limited extend. A few birds - a couple of storks egrets and flamingos.. and some very sea-weed...More

You must have a car to access this place but it is off a main road about 20 minutes from Noto. There is a free car park next to a restaurant. It is a 5 minute walk to the entrance of the reserve. There is...More

This beach on the Reserve came highly recommended. After driving for a few miles on a dodgy unpaved road, we parked and walked a few hundred meters to the beach. Spectacular! Only thing is that it is a nudist beach. Very few had their costumes...More

Sorry but I don't know the answer. We didn't rent any taxis at all on Sicily.
