Parked in car park off Via Don Giordi (free to park and enter). Rented bikes from the bar just inside entrance (3€ for 1 hour). Nice easy cycling tracks. Due to time of year (August) not much to see, only a few flamingos.

Had false information that you could start at Monte Urpine park and walk to Molentargius Park--not really possible. It's not very scenic and the flamingos were far away. We did have a flock fly over us, which was beautiful, showing their colors.

Went there to see pink flamingos school in the nature, apart of few and far distance, there is no other thing to see, long marching for nothing. You will find much more easily and close to observe when you drive near the sea from Cagliari...More

I walked over from the city. Mostly good trails, but at the end I got stuck between roads, channels and inaccessable terrain. But if you can work out the logistics ... off you go.

I walked here from the city, although buses are available. The ticket office staff were helpful (it is free entrance) and on a riany day there were not mmany flamingoes to be seen. But a lovely walk, and I included a trip to the beach.

We visited the park today late morning. We found the main entrance relatively easily with the sat nav. Once there we were welcomed by a nice lady who explained the routes available and sorted us out with bikes. The bikes had seen better days and...More
